By request, here are a few photos from a house shoot I did. The home had a nice rustic feel and also two cats that wanted to be in every picture. I tried to light these in a way that looked natural, using a slow shutter speed and tripod to let the natural light seep in over the strobes.

It's a nice idea for a log cabin or lake house.. I don't think I'd want to live there all the time though.
and now for some actual comments on the photos:
I like the way you framed the picture of the dollhouse/fireplace, and the bedroom.
